Terms for society PROs

By posting on UI-PMO you agree to these rules. They keep the platform trustworthy for students.

1. Who can post

Only the official PRO (or an officer authorised by the society) may use the society's access code. Do not share the code with people outside your society's leadership. You are responsible for everything posted with it.

2. What you may post

  • Hackathons, bootcamps, grants, pitch contests, debates, sports and games, conferences and tutorials.
  • Internships, jobs and scholarships that are real, current and open to UI students.
  • Specials are posted by the UI-PMO admin only.

3. What you may not post

  • Parties, social nights, concerts and other entertainment-only events.
  • Election campaigns, manifestos or political promotion.
  • Anything that asks students to pay to apply for a job, internship or scholarship.
  • False, misleading or expired information, or links that do not work.
  • Offensive, discriminatory or illegal content, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.
  • Posts for a society you do not officially represent.

4. Accuracy

Give a correct deadline, a working official link and honest eligibility details. Update or delete a post when plans change.

5. Flyers and content

Only upload images you have the right to use. By posting, you allow UI-PMO to display your listing and flyer on the platform and in shared digests.

6. Review and removal

The admin may edit, reject or remove any post, and may switch off a society's access code, at any time, especially after repeated rule breaks or student reports. Codes may be replaced if misused.

7. Reports and data

Students can report listings. UI-PMO counts anonymous views and clicks on listings and may share those counts with the society that posted them.

These are the platform's house rules and may be updated as the platform grows.
